22bet Ireland Review 2026: 100% Up to €122 and Thirty Markets on a Hurling Match

If 22bet were a bookies on the main street, it’d be the one with the shelves stacked to the ceiling and the radio up too loud. There’s an enormous range of sports, around 30 markets on a single GAA match, Irish and UK racing, live streaming and a long list of payment methods. When a mate asks where they can bet on something obscure, 22bet is usually my answer.

22bet welcome offer100% up to €122Curaçao licence · not on GRAI register8.6/1018+ · T&Cs apply

It’s also cluttered, offshore and asks for ID before your first withdrawal. 22bet holds a Curaçao licence (plus one from Kahnawake), not an Irish one, and it isn’t on the GRAI register. That’s why it sits fourth on my list, behind the two GRAI-licensed bookies, Midnite and NetBet, and behind Betovo. The betting itself is excellent, but go in with your eyes open. Here’s my full take.

A Euro In, €122 Matched: Getting the 22bet Sports Bonus

The 22bet sports welcome bonus is a 100% match on your first deposit, up to €122. The minimum deposit is just €1, which is about as low as it gets anywhere.

Tick the right box at sign-up

  1. Make sure 22bet accepts sign-ups from Ireland before you go any further.
  2. Register, and choose “Sports Bonus” when you’re asked at sign-up. Miss this and you may not get it.
  3. Lodge at least €1.
  4. Your deposit is matched 100%, up to €122.
  5. Wager the bonus 5x on accas before it expires.

Three legs at 1.40: the rules you’ll bet under

  • Wagering: 5x the bonus amount.
  • Qualifying bets: accas of three or more selections, each at odds of 1.40 or bigger.
  • Expiry: quoted as either 7 or 30 days depending on where you look, so check the T&Cs before you start.
  • Selection at sign-up: you have to pick the Sports Bonus option when registering.

Fair wagering, but it turns you into an acca punter

It’s decent value, with a twist. 5x wagering is reasonable, and a €1 minimum deposit means you can try the site without lodging much. But the acca-only rule changes how you’ll bet. To put numbers on it, a three-leg acca where each selection is priced at exactly 1.40 works out at total odds of about 2.74. That’s not a wild long shot, but all three have to come in, every time.

If you’re not an acca punter already, think about whether you want to become one just to clear a bonus. Be sure of the expiry window too, since 7 days and 30 days are very different things when you’re working through 5x wagering.

18+. T&Cs apply.

Offshore Licences and a Story Worth Knowing: 22bet’s Safety Record

22bet is operated by TechSolutions (CY) Group Ltd. It holds Curaçao licence 8048/JAZ2016-065, and it also has a Kahnawake licence. It is not licensed by the Irish regulator and is not on the GRAI register.

What that means for you: since 1 July 2026, under the Gambling Regulation Act 2024, bookies taking bets from people in Ireland need a GRAI remote betting licence. GRAI-licensed bookies can’t take credit cards, can’t run VIP schemes, are limited in the inducements they offer, and have to respect the National Gambling Exclusion Register. With 22bet, none of those Irish protections apply. If something goes wrong, the GRAI can’t help you, and self-excluding through the Irish register won’t block your account. Your only route for a complaint is the regulator in the country that licenses it.

So check that 22bet accepts sign-ups from Ireland before you lodge, and weigh up whether you’re happy betting without the Irish regulator behind you.

One more thing that’s worth knowing. The Curaçao Chronicle has published allegations about the wider group behind 22bet. I’m not in a position to say anything about them beyond the fact that they were reported, but I’d rather you heard it from me than stumbled across it later.

22bet has been around since 2018, which counts for something. But if a GRAI licence is non-negotiable for you, Midnite and NetBet, my top two, are the ones to look at.

Thirty Markets on a Tipperary–Kilkenny Clash, and Plenty More Besides

A tablet showing a long list of betting markets with a match on the TV behind

The range here is enormous. It’s the kind of sportsbook where you can find a market on almost anything.

Hurling and football from Croke Park down

Both hurling and Gaelic football are covered, with around 30 markets per match. That’s far more than you’ll find at a lot of bookies, where you might only get the result and a handicap. For the big championship days at Croke Park, there’s plenty to pick through.

More markets doesn’t automatically mean better betting, mind. With around 30 options on a match, it’s easy to scatter small bets everywhere and lose track of what you’ve staked. My approach would be to pick one or two markets you actually have a view on, whether that’s the winning margin or the total score, and leave the rest alone.

Fairyhouse to the big British meetings

Irish and UK racing are both covered, so you can follow the cards at Fairyhouse, Punchestown or the Galway Races alongside the big British meetings. Combined with live streaming, that makes 22bet a reasonable option for racing, although I can’t confirm Best Odds Guaranteed from what I’ve checked, so don’t assume it.

Everything from the Premier League to the obscure

Football is covered in huge depth, from the Premier League down. Rugby, tennis and plenty of more obscure sports are there as well. If you like a flutter on something off the beaten track, 22bet is about as broad as they come.

Building Accas, Cashing Out and Watching Live at 22bet

Since the welcome offer is built around accas, it’s worth understanding exactly how they work before you start. My guide on what an acca is covers how the odds multiply, why one losing leg sinks the lot, and when an acca makes sense.

On the feature side:

  • Cash out: available, so you can settle a bet early if you want out. Handy for an acca that’s four from five with a nervy last leg.
  • Live streaming: yes, on a range of events.
  • In-play: I haven’t verified the depth of the live markets, so check what’s live for the game you want.
  • Bet builder: not something I can confirm from what I’ve checked, so I wouldn’t count on it.

My honest gripe is the layout. The site is busy and cluttered, and finding your way around can feel like rooting through a drawer of odds and ends. Once you know where things are it’s grand, but the first few visits can be hard going.

Fifteen-Minute E-Wallet Payouts (Once Your ID Clears)

MethodDepositsWithdrawal time
Skrill / Neteller / MuchBetter (e-wallets)YesAround 15 minutes
Cryptocurrency (20+ coins)Yes15–60 minutes
Visa / MastercardYes3–5 business days
Bank transferYes3–7 business days
RevolutYesNot stated
PaysafecardYesNot stated
Apple Pay / PayPalNot listedNot listed

The payment list is long, and Revolut is on it, which is good news for most Irish punters. E-wallets are very quick at around 15 minutes, and crypto isn’t far behind at 15–60 minutes. Cards and bank transfers are much slower.

The thing to plan for is ID. Your first withdrawal needs ID and proof of address, and that check takes 24–48 hours. I’d upload your documents the day you sign up rather than waiting until you have a winning slip and want the money out. Apple Pay and PayPal aren’t listed.

An Android Download and a Gap on the iPhone

On Android, you can download the 22bet app as an APK file from the website. On iPhone, there’s no app on the Irish App Store, so you’ll be using the mobile site.

Downloading an APK means allowing installs from outside Google Play on your phone, which some people won’t be comfortable with. That’s a fair concern. If you’d rather not, the mobile site does the job, though the clutter is even more noticeable on a small screen, and you’ll do a fair bit of scrolling to find the market you want.

Getting a Human on Live Chat at 1am

Live chat runs 24/7, and there’s email too. Round-the-clock chat is a real plus. If you’re placing a late bet on a match in another time zone and something goes wrong, there’s someone to talk to. There’s no phone line listed, so don’t expect to ring anyone.

Email is the better choice for anything to do with your ID and proof of address, since you’ll want a record of what you sent. With an offshore bookie, keeping that paper trail is worth the small effort.

22bet: The Upside and the Downside

What I like

  • Market depth like nowhere else, including around 30 markets per GAA match
  • Very fast e-wallet and crypto withdrawals
  • A €1 minimum deposit and fair 5x wagering on the welcome bonus
  • Revolut accepted, plus 20+ cryptocurrencies
  • 24/7 live chat and live streaming

What bugs me

  • Curaçao and Kahnawake licences only, not on the GRAI register
  • The bonus has to be wagered on accas of three or more legs
  • A busy, cluttered site, and no iOS app on the Irish App Store
  • Press allegations about the wider group are worth knowing about

My take: brilliant for choice, but it’s an account to go into with your eyes open.

Is 22bet Worth an Irish Punter’s Time?

22bet is a bookie for punters who want choice. The depth of GAA markets, the Irish and UK racing, the live streaming and the speed of e-wallet payouts make it one of the most capable sportsbooks I’ve looked at. I’d happily use it for the market range alone.

It isn’t for everyone, though. The licence is offshore, the site is a bit of a jumble, and the welcome bonus pushes you towards accas. That’s why it’s fourth, behind Midnite, NetBet and Betovo. If you value Irish regulatory protection, go with one of my top two. If you’re comfortable with the trade-offs, check 22bet accepts Irish sign-ups, get your ID uploaded early and enjoy the choice.
